About Iqra Group


Since the year 2000, the Iqra Group has had its headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Education, Training, Business & Management Consultancies, Events Management, Exhibition Organizing and Publications are some of the services it provides to its clients. Focusing on certain countries for networking and matchmaking, including introducing investment houses and investors to these countries for the mutual advantage of all parties involved.

In past had worked very closely with different Consulates/ Embassies in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and now with this new Global initiate we will be working more closely and continuously with more and more Consulates, Embassies of different countries, here in the UAE besides setting up our own or associates offices in different countries.

We are also collaborating with renowned universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Malaysia, Mexico, and Canada to offer their programs in the UAE through one of our sister firms, besides admission counselling and facilitating admission to some fine institutions abroad. From 2008 to 2015, we held "Youth Leadership Conference" under the patronage of various Dubai government entities, with leading and notable individuals as guests of honor. The Chief Guest of our first conference was Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, the UAE's then-Economic Minister. We had three days of one-hour live video conferencing where experts and senior NASA (US Space Agency) officials spoke to our young conference attendees at 10 a.m. Dubai time, while it was 10 p.m. in California.

Dr. Syed Muhammad Tahir


Born in Karachi on 29th May 1960. Hold Bachelors of Commerce from University of Karachi Masters in Business Administration from Belgium and dual Doctorate degrees in Management and Islamic Banking from USA. Also professionally qualified as TQM consultant with certification for Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Dr Tahir initiated his professional career in Dubai U.A.E. as a Banker in the year 1982 and along with the time in last almost four decades with his persistent approach for learning and upgrading academically he created opportunities to work in different industries and in different capacities. As an entrepreneur started his consultancy company 1998 for QMS and assisted more than fifty companies in UAE and abroad to achieve coveted certificate for ISO 9000 Quality Management System.

Dr. Tahir also served as member examination committee of Dubai Quality Awards in 1996-7. In one of his last assignments with Thomas Cook Al Rostamani Exchange company Lead the team to win the Dubai Quality Appreciation Award in 1998.

Dr. Tahir in the year 2000 setup Iqra Management Consultancy besides into Publication, Events & Seminar organizing companies. With his keen interest and love towards training and youth development programs, Dr. Tahir initiated Youth Leadership Conference in 2008 under the patronage of H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, the Minister of Economy. In this conference participants also interact via Video conference with the NASA (the US space agency) daily for five days one hour understanding educational programs by NASA for Youth and qualifications NASA looks at while hiring young brains. Now this is an annual event under the patronage of Community Development Authority a Dubai Government entity.

Dr. Tahir was on board of advisors at one of the oldest schools in Dubai Arab Unity School established in early 1970’s and was also board Member and Chairman Academic Committee of Pakistan Islamia High School, Sharjah the largest and the oldest Pakistani School in the UAE, currently serving as BOG for Pakistan High School Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).

Dr. Tahir also holds the position of Regional Director Middle East, for the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance UK, the oldest institute in the Islamic Financial sector.

Dr. Tahir also served as a retainer consultant & Trainer for Emirates NBD and Emirates Islamic Bank from 2003 till 2012. Also served as a retainer consultant with a Dubai based IT company on a project with a Islamic Bank in Egypt.

In his long career spanning over 40 years he conducted regular classes and training seminars and having authority on Islamic & Conventional Banking & Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Leadership besides other Management topics. Dr. Tahir has been regularly invited by different educational institutions as Motivational speaker and on Leadership topics and has conducted workshops on Youth development programs at different platforms in the UAE and abroad.

Clearance Sales

This section gives an option to our members to clear their stock by listing their goods at a discounted price. Clearance sales usually happen at the end of the year, but there is no hard & fast rule to establish time or other conditions at BIND. One may sell their products for clearance at any time of the year. This section also gives a chance for sellers to get rid of inventory that are taking up space, costing them money in inventory control, accounting, warehousing and other issues. On the other hand, buyers can find products to purchase in bulk at a cheap and reasonable price.

Stock Lot

Stock lot is a business where the Vendor might want to get rid of their products. The items are usually fresh, in proper rations, and in good and large quantities. In some cases, the items were made to order but could not be delivered in agreed time due payment issues, and other business issues resulting in “stock lot”. The Stocks are of good quality, ready for use and the sellers are usually willing to sell at below market price. This can happen at any time of the year.

It’s very obvious that computers cannot beat humans although they were built and programmed by humans. Due to computers, transactions are very fast, accurate, and result oriented. However, at some positions, we look for further help & assistance and its where we believe that human involvement becomes inevitable.

Investment

When we talk about Investment, we man investment in Public (Government) projects, we encourage investment by Individual or organization into Government Projects. Generally we do not involve in investment to private entities, but in a very exceptional case and looking to the preference of investor we may link the two parties.

BIND aims to connect the Investors directly to the Public Sector of a country for a fruitful deployment of their funds into the Governmental managed projects like Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Telecommunication, IT / Technology, Infrastructure development and so on.
